Adidas—3D & Motion Design
2009
Created while at Frame in Copenhagen, this project for Adidas involved sketches and style frame mockups before proceeding to modeling, animation, and finally multiple 3D passes for compositing in After Effects.
The peeling effect involved a few rounds of back and forth to get right, and we opted for a simpler solution for the environment (as opposed to modeling), which added to the lofi feel of the spot.
Extra elements such as pain splashes, camera shakes, dust, rocks, and defocus zooms came out of exploring different variations in After Effects.
A few shoe colors were featured in the spot, each with their own animated elements and style.
