Figma Prototyping—Component Sets & Micro Interactions

When designing in Figma, I typically work in creating Component Sets and leveraging Variants as I build screens or focus on areas of interaction. This allows for quick, iterative prototyping, and opens up to many opportunities for micro-interaction testing.

Figma's auto-layout abilities, when combined with Component Sets and Variants, offer a lot of design flexibility and speed in setting up and trying options, variations, while being able to test interaction feel and motion language.

It's also lots of fun—duplicating, remixing, and branching out into new directions, all from a simple set of building blocks.
