Old Reels Vol 1—2002

It's always weird to look back at early design work, especially in motion design as it changes and evolves so rapidly.

Every once in a while I stumble on a low res video file of an old reel assembled for a particular project or client, and this one features what I thought was a really cool idea at the time—a list selector of projects shown between clips.

This, I though to myself, allowed me to show more work (in listing it) without needed to show clips from each one. After watching this I realize even I don't notice the other client names in the list as it passes so quickly. Plus the stretch distortion doesn't exactly help.

This one is mostly work from 2002, with a clip from 2005 and 2007.
