Old Reels Vol 2—2009

Old Reels Vol 2—2009

Old Reels Vol 2—2009

An older reel of some early work I came across organizing backup drives. Assembled in 2009 under the name Runrobot, which I thought was very cool at the time., because robots, this one includes work ranging from 2002 to 2009

I believe this one was compiled for a project in Norway and has some interesting moments. I used to love digging into sound design in a reel and would switch up music or sounds during the flow of work, which I reasoned helped to wake up or engage a viewer.

Mostly it's because I loved when Scorsese did it in movies like Casino, where the soundtrack kept changing during a long sequence, seamlessly going in and out of moods to match what was on screen.

This is mostly After Effects, with a tiny bit of C4D.
